Hello, Friends!  My favorite holiday is right around the corner!  Thanksgiving is the perfect time to gather with family and friends, enjoy good food, play games, laugh and take photos!  To help you capture all those great memories, I’ve created this Thanksgiving Harvest Mini Album Tutorial.  I’ve used the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Bracket Edged Stagger Mini Album and Fall Shape set along with the gorgeous Authentique Harvest papers.  Get out your scissors and pencils because class is in session!

Thanksgiving Harvest Mini Album Tutorial YouTube Video Tour

Because I am a visual learner, I like to experience the flow of an album via a video tour.  In this short tour, I’ll share tips and tricks for working with chipboard and demonstrate how all the various interactive elements of the album work.  I think you’ll find it is a good introduction to the Snapguide tutorial below.

Thanksgiving Harvest Snapguide Tutorial

This Snapguide tutorial will guide you step by step through the process of building your album.  You will learn how to use embossing powders and paints to alter your chips, see how I assembled each page and find a complete supply list within this tutorial.  Enjoy!

    Hi Kathy,
    what a superb mini album.
All the lovely chipboard pages, pockets, and wonderful elements included in this superb design.
Love the wonderful colurs, and the heat embossing to your squirrels and leaves too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Okay this one is insanely autumn and amazing!!! YOU are the queen of the mini’s. I LOVE this wee album, soooo much detail and all those little places to put photo’s or whatever you like to put inside. What a great project Kathy. When you said, “it’s a pretty easy album and you can put it together in an afternoon”, well, maybe you can do that, I would be slightly overwhelmed just picking out papers to do the project in the first place! lol It truly is a lovely project and I thank you for sharing this one.

WOW! I really don’t know what else to say, except I LOVE this album! I still flip through and display the mini album I got from you a couple years ago! I treasure it! Love those embossed squirrels! Hugs!

OK, so this is just too fabulous and I want to make one. I love the shaped edges and all the little embellishments. Your tour and tutorial are both so well done. Love the fall colours and the embossing powder on paint technique is now a must try for me. I think this would make a wonderful gift for a gal who is about to make her first Thanksgiving dinner with some recipes already tucked into the pockets to guide her.
    Hugs!
