Throwback Thursday Floral Tapestry Tag Pocket Card Tutorial
Hello, Friends! Are you happy that it’s Throwback Thursday? Today I’m sharing this pretty Memory Place Floral Tapestry Tag Pocket Tutorial with you. I had a few scraps left over after I finished making the Button Farm Club Folio Kit earlier this year. There was not a lot to work with, but the papers were too pretty to toss in the bin, so I put on my thinking cap and came up with this vintage style tag pocket card . I’m so glad I did!
It’s been fun digging through the Closet of Inspiration and Delight. I’ve found all sorts of forgotten goodies there. A hidden stash of metallic foil cardstock added a touch of shimmer and shine to this 5×7 card base.
I also found a stash of G45 Ivory Tags. What a great way to stretch a paper collection! You’ll see in the tutorial below how I had to get creative in covering this tag up with my scraps. And how much do we love the chipboard background layer from Reneabouquets? It lends such a lovely bit of texture and vintage charm to the finished project.
What do you do when you only have one 3×4 image card left? Why, you mat it and tuck it into a tag pocket!
A Peek Inside
Here’s a peek at the inside of the card. Create a tuck spot for a tea bag, add a little note card and you have a lovely little gift. Use washi tape to attach a honey stick and you’re all set!
