Throwback Thursday Z Fold Pop Up Box Card Tutorial with Prima Spring Farmhouse
Hello Friends! Happy first day of Spring! It’s a perfect day and time to share this Throwback Thursday Z Fold Pop Up Box Card Tutorial with you. Since many of us are staying in, and hopefully staying healthy, I thought I’d pop in with a little springtime cheer. And the Prima Spring Farmhouse collection is just bursting with spring themes. This dimensional card would make great springtime home decor, too.
The base for this card is 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. It folds flat for storage, and opens for display.
A few simple folds allow you to create this dynamic display. I even found room to add in a little pocket and teeny tiny notecard.

This is such a fun, cute card!! You “went to town” on this one, err, “the farm” Lol!!
Finally (and maybe unfortunately because of the circumstances) I have time this morning to watch your video.
You are such a wonderful teacher. I learn so much from you. You’re my go-to for ideas. Thanks for making my Saturday morning special.
By the way, just wondering if you’re close to showing us how to do the stuffed envelope card as a “stand-up”card?
Hope you have a great day and stay well!!!
I just received the Button Farm Club card kit using the Stamperia “Voyages Fantastiques” collection where you share a tutorial for this same card design. The paper collection is fabulous steampunk imagery which creates more of a masculine card. But it is such a versatile design which caters to ANY paper collection, ANY occasion as shown in this beautiful Spring card. Your instructions are detailed and easy to follow too. Thank you Kathy.Psalm 91. Jill in Salt Lake
I love this design! Leave it to you to take a great design to the next level! I will have to do one of these!
Love this one, the cow on the front made me smile. Great card!! Thank you for posting things in this chaotic time, nice to keep something a bit normal. Thank you Kathy for your sharing and your inspiration. Enjoy your day.
Always enjoy your “throwbacks,” Kathy. Even if I use a different older paper collection, I appreciate another way to use them. Now that I’m home more these days, I have more time for card making–Yay! tfs-hugs!
Awesome card, Kathy!!! Beautiful paper and of course all the embellishments – just a gorgeous Spring card!!!
I just love this card Kathy! I’ve made the Z fold cards before but not with the mechanism inside with the pop up. You also did very well in utilizing the paper you had left. I don’t do that, but need to take a better look as to how I can now keep what I’ve throwing out & have it look beautiful like the one you have made for us. TYFS
Oh Kathy, what an amazing card! I just love all of the little springtime images and flowers. But I have to say, the cow in the fancy frame takes the cake!. We had cows on my Dad’s farm for a long time and I absolutely adore them. Prima really has such beautiful “feel good” collections. You have done a fantastic design with this beauty! Going now to see the video. Thank you for sharing! Hugs!
Oh Kathy …Thank you, thank you, thank you! You read my mind! Lol! Saw this the other day and remembered your xmas card you made ages ago and wondered if I could figure it out! And Yay, here it is! Luv it with these farmhouse papers too! Thank you for sharing your tutorial and making it look so easy! Praying its all safe out your way! Have a great crafty weekend! It will surely take away some of this stress! Hugs, Suzy Q
i have tried z fold cards before but not with the pop up and you make it seem so easy. The folder is amazing and I can’t wait to put your ideas into practice. Thanks again for your great
inspirational ideas. Hopefully mine will turn out as good as yours. Keep these tutorials coming as they give such great video examples of what can be done. Thanks again Kathy.
WOW this is amazing and just gorgeous! It would take me a month of Sundays to do a card like this! Just AWESOME my friend! Be Well!
Perfect for the first day of Spring! Great fold and love all the flowers and butterflies.
