Timeless Moments Shaker Card Folio Tutorial & How to Create Your Own Shaker Frame

Hello, Friends!  It’s Wind Back Wednesday and this Timeless Moments Shaker Frame Tutorial presents a new and improved pull-out mechanism as well as a DIY shaker frame made with cardstock and dies.  Shabby chic papers from Ciao Bella and Reneabouquets paper pretties set the table for a project that is definitely my cup of tea!

Are you ready to get your craft on?  Then let’s get this party started!

My Cup of Tea

Y’all, this is one fun folio!  Not only does it contain a sweet little pull out mechanism, there’s also a nifty hidden pocket!  It’s a fun new twist on a tried and true design.  Best of all, it’s ridiculously easy to make.  I don’t know why I never thought of doing this before!

Dress up a G45 Square Ivory tag with fussy cut images, tie on a bit of lace, and tuck into the pocket that’s hidden behind the pull-out mechanism.  I’ll show you how to make that happen!  There’s even room to mat a pretty image onto grey cardstock!

Two Pockets are Better than One

Y’all know how much I love pockets, so if I can add two pockets to a card folio, I’m extra happy!  This pocket holds a darling little bookmark, chocolate treat and journal card.  Create a small envelope with your punch board, dress it up with lace and a fussy cut image, and you’ve created a lovely little tea sachet!

NOTE:  The basic measurements for this project are written down in the description box below the video on my YouTube Channel.

Next week, we’ll start a new month featuring Stamperia Hidden Grove collection.  It’s going to be loads of fun.
