Love, Love, Love: A Valentine Gallery Post
Hello, Friends! I have been having the BEST time making Valentines for my Etsy Shop. Since there are so many, I thought I’d just pop in and share a little Valentine Gallery Post so that you can see what I’ve been up to. This won’t be one of my typical “how to” posts. I’ll just share all the pretty pictures so you can see what I’ve been up to.
Valentine Gallery Post #1: Hugs and Kisses Valentine Wallet
This first card is actually a little wallet made with Carta Bella’s playful Hello, Sweetheart Collection.
I love the pink and black color scheme, and the stylish belly band that holds the wallet closed.
Inside the card, I created a box style pocket and stuffed it with Valentine goodies.
These papers are not my usual style…but I kinda fell for the color palette and playful imagesand had to add them to my Valentine stash.
Valentine Gallery Project #2: Valentine Viking Card
Hehehe. This one makes me chuckle. I found out I have Viking blood (truly, I do) about 10 years ago. And since then, Dale and I have made all all kinds of Viking jokes. I thought this whimsical love stricken Viking would make the perfect Valentine for my honey. Only…get this…he does not care for cards. So I made it, showed it to him, and now it goes into the Etsy shop for some other Viking lover.
Who can resist this little guy? And the vintage buttons on the side make me think of Viking shields. Fun, right?
I love a good fold out element on a project. This is the perfect spot to write a little greeting.
And here’s my Viking sweetheart again…
I know, I know…too punny!
Valentine Gallery Project #3: Shabby Chic Pink and Black Valentine
I kind of love the country chic vibe of this pretty pink and black Valentine.
I blame this one on my BFF Ginny Nemchak as the country chic tag is from her Etsy Shop. All the other papers on this one are from my scrap drawer.
There’s a tea bag tucked in that mini envelope, to go along with the decorated honey stick in the pocket.
And what’s a Valentine without a little chocolate?
Valentine Gallery Project #4: Shabby Chic Valentine Tag
I decided to clean up my work table by making this sweet little shabby chic Valentine Tag.
This is also an image from Ginny’s Etsy Shop. The tag is made with cardstock and measures 4.5″ x6.5″. The vintage button is one I found at an estate sale. Love me some vintage buttons!
So that wraps up my Valentine Gallery for now. If you’d like to purchase any of these items, or any other of the handmade items in my ETSY shop, you can find them HERE. Thanks so much for letting me share these with you!
Beautiful as usual. Do you accept personal checks or money orders in your Etsy store?
these are so beautiful…I love all of them..and the layouts are so darling. I noticed that you use a honey stick on your tea cards..can you recommend where I can get them? thanks so much
hugs and have a great week
It’s as if I hit the jackpot with this gallery of cards, Kathy! Each one is so different but all so delightful. Of course, my favorite is #3–love the shabby chic–but the Viking is so cute with those punny sayings. I’m sure Viking football fans will love it, not to mention those of Norwegian descent. Thanks for sharing them all–you’ve given me so great ideas for my upcoming card creations.
Awesome, awesome, awesome ideas Kathy! Just luv your color combinations! Each one so adorable than the other! Thanks and hugs to you!
Got to say it…. I like all of them! Mr. Viking is cute and the others are so pretty! Wish mine were done but the paper has been shipped so hopefully It will come this week.
Wow, you HAVE been busy! So many adorable cards… love the pink/black combo. Thanks for sharing your talent…
