Simple Stories Vintage Woodlands Shaker Tag Album Tutorial for Wind Back Wednesday
Hello, Friends! This Simple Stories Vintage Woodlands Shaker Tag Album Tutorial is a revamp of the Bees and Butterflies project I shared last month. I had such a good time making that project, and it was very popular with y’all as well. So I decided to use the basic design again in this month’s Wind Back Wednesday project. To freshen it up, I added more pages and a couple of new little design twists. Bottom line? It’s a super fun little album, and the perfect bit of autumn home decor.
All the Fall Feels
I am so ready for fall! I just kinda let myself go full-on autumn with this one, and had the best time coloring, layering, and shaking things up. Reneabouquets autumn beautiful board adds some lovely detail above and below the shaker window. These pieces are colored with Distress Inks and spritzed with water to make the colors come to life. Then add in some mustard seeds for texture, star anise for the perfect fall scent, and handmade flowers to top things off.
Here’s a peek at the pretty spine treatment. It was so easy to transition this woodland collection into a fall project. I love the way it turned out!

This album comes together quickly; you just need a dedicated day to complete it. The pages all feature simple interactive elements that make it fun to flip through.

Wow there are so many elements and construction techniques to this wonderful tag book. Thanks Kathy for the video packed with information. This is a must try project! Today is the first day of spring and we have masses of blooms, bees and birds to entertain us, maybe some chicks too as we can here the squawks from nearby nests.
