Walking on Sunshine Shaker Card with Really Reasonable Ribbon and Photoplay Sweet Sunshine

Hello, Friends!  Summer is just a few days away, and this Walking on Sunshine Shaker Card is filled with summery goodness!   Today I want you to think juicy, sweet popsicles and pool parties and daisy chain necklaces and all the fun that summer has to offer.  Oh, and pink flamingos and flip flops, too. Because nothing says summer like a pink flamingo and flip flops!

Easy Peasy Summer Shaker Frame

It’s so easy to make this summery shaker frame that you can get it done and still have time for a patio party!  Here’s how:

• First, locate the summer flowers frame from the Sweet Sunshine Ephemera pack. Cut a 4 1/4″ square of clear cardstock (acetate sheet) and attach it to the back side of the frame using 1/4″ Scor-Tape as your adhesive.
• Now add 3 layers of 1/4″ foam tape to the back side of the frame.
• Cut a 4 1/4″ square of hot pink plaid paper for the shaker window back panel.  Decorate it with stickers from the paper collection.
• Place Fruit Cocktail Sprinkletz and some sequins and buttons inside your prepared frame, peel off the Scor-Tape Liner, and adhere the pink plaid paper over the tape.
• Dress up your shaker window with a trio of pale peach Chrysanthemums, hot pink baker’s twine and 3/16″ orange gingham ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
• Attach a flip flop and enamel pineapple charm to another piece of baker’s twine and adhere behind some citrusy orange buttons.

Surprise!  It’s a Pop-Up Card!

Build a cute summer scene on a pop up square inside the card to add even more fun to this card design.

You can even add a pocket and gift card holder that carries out the fun pink flamingo theme.

Add a blank sentiment panel inside the gift card wallet so  you have a place to write a cheery message.
