Winter Wonderland Shaker Tag Album Tutorial

Ciao Bella Winter Wonderland Shaker Tag Album Tutorial with Reneabouquets

Hello, Friends!  Wintry blues take center stage in this Ciao Bella Winter Wonderland Shaker Tag Album Tutorial for Wonderful Wednesday.  Temps have definitely cooled off here in North Carolina, making our Wonderful Winter theme for December even more appropriate  Today’s project features the shaker tag dies that I designed for a Button Farm Club October kit.  This large tag measures 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ which gives us lots of room to play.   But you should be able to use this idea with any tag dies that you happen to have in your stash.

Our papers are a combination of the Ciao Bella Winter Wonderland Junk Journal Book and Ciao Bella Winter Journey Collections.  Again, use whatever papers you have on hand and let your creativity run wild.  We’ll be using some paper pretties from Reneabouquets to add an extra layer of frosty goodness to this album design.

Lots  of Fun Inside!

I’ll show  you how to use paper spines to connect three die cut tags into a sweet little trifold album.  Then we’ll add in some fun interactive designs like this little waterfall feature. These patterns and images take me back the winter adventures of my New England childhood!

TIP:  Use the die insert to cut perfectly sized waterfall pages.

Of course, I’ve added lots of pockets!  You know how much I love my pockets!  But then there are some unexpected elements behind this pocket flap.

How about a stadium style pop up element?  You won’t believe how easy this is to make, friends!  Once you learn how, you’ll want to add pop up flaps to all  your cards and albums!

Thank you very much Kathy for this wonderful tutorial. I especially love the pop up section and watched the video more than once and promptly had a go at pop up tag books over the weekend. Everything about this art piece is beautifully designed and presented. How you keep producing such wonderful ideas is amazing. The Christmas tree is in place, with twinklies to boot, first time for decades and it is fun to decorate. I hope you have time to decorate with your family too.

My wife is very talented but this is one of the coolest things she has made! She gave it a lot of time and thought!
    Kudos

Looking forward to watching the tutorial with all it’s “cool” elements!
Nothing better than tags, pockets and waterfalls. Thank you, Kathy, for taking the time to do a tutorial for us at this busy time of the year. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Oh my gosh, so pretty, Kathy. I love to read your description of a project. The words you choose are like dollops of sweet whipped cream on a yummy dessert.

I think this tag album may be my favorite project you have created but then I’ve said that before! Love the paper collection, the colors, and all the elements that make this tag gorgeous. I also want to tell you that I made the ticking fabric pockets you shared with us for Thanksgiving gifts and everyone loved them. Again thank you so much for your tutorials.
