Paper Rose Words of Wisdom Front Step Card Tutorial
Hello, Friends! It’s the first Wednesday in April 2026, and I have an easy and elegant Paper Rose Words of Wisdom Front Step card tutorial to share with you. No April Fool’s tricks here…just a quick card made with a beautiful paper collection.
The wonderful thing about this card is the fact that it will fold flat to fit into a 5×7 envelope. That means it’s easy to mail. Because it has a stand-up base, it’s also a great display card. And best of all, you can put this beauty together in about 30 minutes. That’s quick and easy card making at its best!
Once you learn how easily this fancy fold card base comes together, you’ll want to make a big stack to have on hand for all kinds of occasions,
Double-Faced Card Base
This card doesn’t open like a standard card because of the pop up design. But you can add a lovely pocket to the back side! This gives you lots of room to write a note. Or, you can add a pocket as I did here.
Got scraps? Make a pretty little bookmark to tuck inside the pocket, and now you have a gift. How sweet is that?
If you’re planning on mailing your card, you’ll want to avoid adding too much dimension. For that reason, I didn’t add flowers, ribbons or other dimensional embellishments to the design. However, if you’re planning on delivering your card in person, you can add embellishments to your heart’s content!
