Yuletide Box of Tags Kit Reveal

Simple Stories Yuletide Box of Tags Kit Reveal for The Button Farm Club

Happy Monday, Friends!  Today I get to share my Simple Stories Yuletide Box of Tags Kit Reveal with you.  This is an idea that popped into my head a few months ago.  Since then, I’ve been scheming and dreaming on how to bring it to life.  So today is an exciting day for me! I hope you’ll be as excited to see this wonderful kit reveal, too.

It All Started with a Box!

Do you remember the lovely book boxes that Graphic 45 used to make? Altering those boxes was always a favorite of mine.  So I was very sad when G45 decided to discontinue them.  But one day I thought to myself, “I bet I could make one of those if I tried.”  When the idea for a Christmas home decor project filled with pretty tags popped into my head, I knew it was time to design one of these boxes.  So I did.

My project box measures 6 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ x 3″.  Slightly larger than the ATC box, and a little bit smaller than the Book Box, it’s the  perfect size for tags, mini albums or other trinkets.

And yes, I added a decorative back to this adorable box.  This way, if it is used as a table centerpiece, everyone has something pretty to look at.  Best of all, you are going to learn how to make this box as part of the kit.  How great is that?

Kathy by Design Decorative Shaker Tag Dies

If you’re going to build a tag box, you might as well design a tag die to go along with it.  So I did.  And because I  love to make shaker tags, I designed a die that makes it as easy as 1, 2, 3, to make a shaker window.  These tags measure a generous 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ with a 3 3/4″ x 5″ window opening.  I’m especially fond of the scalloped bottom edge.

We’ll create a sweet gift card pocket and note card on the back side of each of the 4 shaker tags in this kit.

Tag Folios

You’ll also learn how to make 4 tag folios in this kit.

Wouldn’t these look pretty hanging on your tree?

And what a fun gift or place card for friends and family!

Does the Shaker Tag Die come with the kit?  Of course it does!

You’ll find a 3 panel pull out folio on the back of each of these tags.  Want to see more?  Then please enjoy this video tour on my YouTube channel.

You can order your kit HERE.

If you still haven’t started on your Christmas cards, there are a few Dear Santa Card Kits left in the shop, too.

As always, thank you so much for all your kind support.  Sharing these kits with you is a real joy for me, and I love hearing your feedback.

I won’t have another Button Farm Club Kit until we release the December Quarterly Card Kit.  It’s gonna be worth the wait, though!  We’re making our first masculine card kit with 49 & Market Rust and Revs collection, and it’s going to be a blast!
