Authentique Nostalgia Christmas Teacups

Authentique Nostalgia Christmas Teacups

Hello, Friends!  Well, it’s November, and time to start rolling out loads of Christmas inspiration for you.  Today I have some darling Authentique Nostalgia Christmas Teacups that will make wonderful little gifts or table decor during the holidays.

How fun would these be all displayed on a holiday mantel or buffet table?  I used Eileen Hull’s fabulous Teacups Bigz Die to build the 3-D teacups from matboard.  Then each cup was covered with beautiful papers from Authentique Paper’s Nostalgia Collection.

I used papers from the 12×12 Paper Pad and images from the sticker sheet and 6×6 bundle to decorate each teacup.

Then I filled each teacup with a Christmas Cookie, mini chocolate, tea bag, candy cane, tiny plastic silver spoon and a little gift card holder.    Novelty Christmas buttons, jingle bells, ribbon and holiday flowers make each teacup extra festive.

Look at this perky little Scotty Dog peeping around the corner of this cute cup.  I do think he deserves to be on Santa’s Nice List, don’t you?

The sticker tickets  add so much fun to the little Biscoff Cookie treats!

How adorable is this wee Christmas puppy?

He’s so cute he gets a “Naughty Pass.”

Decorating these cups was a blast!  I got to dig through all my little Christmas embellies!  I found these tiny Christmas Ornaments that were the perfect size to fit on the little tag.

You could fill your teacups with any small goodies.  I think wrapped peppermint candies would be super cute, too.

This little cup is so sweet and romantic!  You could tuck a diamond engagement ring in here for a fun surprise!

No diamond ring in this cup…but I think the recipient will still enjoy the goodie assortment!  The gift card holder doubles as a mini card with room to write a personal note inside.

Handmade gifts are always my favorite.  They are one of a kind, and can be tailored to the interests and preferences of the recipient, too.  If you’re interested in purchasing these sweet teacups, you can find them in my ETSY shop.

I hope I’ve shared some tips, tricks and ideas that you can use in your own crafty adventures.  If so, I’d love to hear from you in the comment section below.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,

kathy

Kathy, these tea cups are amazing. They are great for the holidays — table favors?! I’m picturing so many occasions when the tea cup die can be used for decor and fun. Each one offers unique possibilities. As always, tfs. Just wish I could use the BigZs.

I see they are already sold out…I’m sad…I would love to have a scotty dog one if you would make one for me. Or, if I could buy a teacup cutout and decorate it myself.
It would be a perfect gift for a BBF of mine. If not, I understand. lease email me with your answer as I don’t blog much anymore.
    Thank you! deb
