Stamperia Friends YouTube Hop

Stamperia Friends YouTube Hop Music Folio with Journal Insert Tutorial

Hello, Friends!  I’m so excited about today’s post that I can hardly stand it!  This Stamperia Friends YouTube Hop was first announced on my YouTube Channel in October of 2018.  Packages took a long time to ship, the holidays happened and the date kept getting pushed back.  But the time is finally here, and the hop is now live.  If you love Stamperia Papers, and you love video tutorials, then you are going to love this amazing hop!  It’s an incredible honor to be part of a wonderful line up of mixed media artists who all share a love for Stamperia papers.

I decided to create a mixed media trifold folio using Stamperia’s gorgeous Music paper pad.  This is a 5  1/4″ x 7 1/4″ trifold folio with loads of pockets, flaps and interactive elements.

Similar in design to the Love Notes folio I made for Graphic 45 at CHA, this slightly smaller folio has a lovely secret tucked inside.

The center box style pocket holds this hand stitched 4″ x 5 1/2″ journal.

I’ve prepared a YouTube video tour and tutorial for this project so you can see all the details and learn how to create your own folio, should you desire to do so.

In the description box below the video, you will find links to all the other YouTube videos in the hop.  You will want to hop along, as we are giving away TEN Stamperia prize packages for those who hop, comment, subscribe to the channels in the hop and subscribe to the Stamperia channel on YouTube.

I’ll provide a link to the products I used below.  Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoy the hop!

Cheerio,

kathy

Impressed it only took you 2 days to create this marvel. BRAVA! ♡ What a pleasure to watch & learn from you. Through you I have discovered many new products by Stamperia that I would not have known existed otherwise. That moulded lace is very intriguing. *☆♡☆*HUGS YOU ARE LOVED!*☆♡☆*

Stamperia has the most beautiful paper! I’m in love with the Magna Carta paper. It looks devine. Can’t wait to have some fun with it. Your folio is among the most creative and beautiful I’ve had the pleasure of seeing you YouTube. I’m glad your produce list is provided here. Thank you for the opportunity to learn and be inspired by your gifts.

Love Stamperia papers! Our local gal will be getting them in to her studio, and I can’t wait to see them and touch them! Eye candy for sure, just like this project Kathy, you did it again. 🙂

Kathy, what an absolutely stunning folio! The folio itself is so beautiful but then you go and add a little journal in the middle! Girl! The workmanship you have put into this project is so off the charts. The people at Stamperia will be drooling over this! Of course your embellishments are AWESOME! I always love the little charms and flowers that you add. This paper is so warm and beautiful, I wish I had every one of their collections. Thank you so much for sharing! Hugs!

Wow, wow, WOOOWWW, Kathy! You blew me away with this project! I left a nice comment on your video, that showed my initial response, but I wanted to come tell you how truly fantastic your Music Folio is on your blog. I think the comment on video will be lost in the other 100’s there! You nailed this one, my friend and I believe you must now where the mixed media queen crown! So hard to pick a favorite bit, but I think it’s the molded lace border; so perfectly patina’d!!! But I just love, love LOVE everything about this! No wonder you were so excited about this! I never knew Stamperia had all these amazing products! (I went back and watched your Oct. 2018 video, too!) Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talents and hard work! Sending hugs!

Hi Kathy, love this album. I tried to comment on your YouTube video for this hop, but didn’t see where to do so on the phone. If you have you made anything with Stamperia Provence I’d love to see that too? Thanks RJ

I’m so glad you took the time to list all the Hop participants on your YouTube channel. I looked at the various projects, but your gorgeous mini album was the only one that drew my attention. I’m definitely not a mixed media crafter! On the other hand, Stamperia paper collections are just so beautiful!! I purchased this collection specifically to meet a special order request for a photo album. Loved seeing your tutorial for building the base and adding the pockets. Though I happen to be an experienced album maker, I did pick up a couple of valuable tips and tricks. Many thanks!

This is a masterpiece Kathy. It amazes me how you keep coming up with these wonderful designs and so generously sharing them with us. Wish I could live inside your brain for a while.

Kathy – let me say a BIG thank you to you and Stamperia for this Hop!!! I have watched all the videos, and have learned so much from them – Stamperia paper has ranked top of my list for sometime now and I have some of their Rice paper and stencils, but have never had the honor of seeing their massive collection of products – WOW!!! I love it all, and again thanks so much for having so many talented artists involved!!!

Just love the vintage look and the stenciling. This paper is gorgeous and your touch just makes this project lovely. All the projects were amazing but I could not find a place to comment on YouTube
