Stamperia Whispering Woods Twist and Pop Up Tutorial: Week 3/Signature 3
Hello, Friends! This Stamperia Whispering Woods Twist and Pop Up Tutorial is just one of the fun, dimensional elements that I’m going to share with you today. Both are adaptations of popular pop up card mechanisms that I’ve modified for our pop up book.
If you like pages that move, have dimension and create that “wow” factor without a lot of complicated construction, then I think you’re going to love making Signature 3 with me!
Dimensional Pull Out Page
How fun is this dimensional pull-out page? it’s really just a standard step-out card design that I’ve “upsized” to fit our pop up book. I also added a little side pocket to hold a tag. Pages that move always intrigue me, especially when they are as simple to make as this one!
Since there are two of these pages in Signature 3, we’ll make this one together step by step.
Twist and Pop Up Element
Once again, I pulled from my fancy fold toolbox of ideas to create this super quick and easy twist and pop page. Have you made this style fancy fold before? If not, prepare to be addicted! And if you know, you know! They are so much fun to make!
Here’s a peek at the twist and pop element that we will build together today. It’s such a neat surprise to open the flap and have this row of images pop up from the page.

If you’d like to learn how to create both of these interactive page elements, then please grab a cuppa and a snack and join me for the video tutorial over on my YouTube channel.
I’m curious to know how many of you are following along and making your own pop up book using this tutorial as a guide. Are you enjoying the process? I know I am!
I’ll be back next week with a new pop up technique for Signature 4. In the meantime, if you need to get caught up on previous tutorials for this project, you can find them HERE.

Thanks for stopping by, friends!

SUPPLY LIST

Well that video was a welcome treat after days of domestic chores (post guest). It has been a while since I did that type of pop up and the papers certainly work for this type of construction. Agreed, doing each signature then installing them sounds like a good idea. I didn’t realise the stamperia junk journals were so useful, thanks for including them in your designs Kathy.
I definitely enjoy watching the process of the pop up book being created! I have not attempted to make one yet but love the techniques you share along the way. Thank you so much for sharing.
I wanted to use this paper before I started on the book. As of yesterday I had evetuthing collected so – I’ll be starting on this soon!
