Country Bunny Flower Basket Easel Card for Country Craft Creations
Hello, Friends! I’m back today to share this Country Bunny Flower Basket Easel Card. Yesterday, I shared my cute Country Bunny Boxed Mini Album set with you. But today I wanted to showcase the gorgeous florals in the Country Bunny paper collection.
Start with a 6″ x 6″ kraft cardstock easel card base. Then add some height with a 5″ x 7″ decorative panel on the front of the card. Next, alter a Reneabouquets April in Paris Doily Set 2 with embossing powders. Fussy cut the flower basket from the paper collection, back with foam tape and adhere to the doily. Now just add in some flowers, buttons and embellishments to finish the design. I also spattered sepia paint on the card to add that “painterly” artistic touch.
The satin trim adds wonderful texture and shine to the card design. And Little Birdie Flowers are the perfect finishing touch. It comes in the Country Bunny Kit along with the Seam Binding Ribbon that I used in the bow.
A Peek Inside
Do you finish the insides of your cards? I love to cover the interior panels with more designer paper. The pocket on the bottom serves as the stopper or break for the easel mechanism. It’s a great place to tuck in a note card and a tea bag wallet. The smaller pocket on the top is just the right size for a miniature Lindt chocolate treat.
I think this collection is sooo beautiful! I have a few more pieces left, and I can’t wait to play with it again.
You’ll find a linked supply list below this post.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh wow, Kathy! This collection is over the top beautiful! I love the soft muted colors and the designs. All of the images look like gorgeous watercolors to me. This is one stunning card! You have such a talent for arranging your elements in a way that really makes one want to look at it over and over. True works of art! Thank you for sharing! Hugs!
Very pretty. I like the addition of the dragonfly.
So pretty. I like the white spaces too. Looks refreshing.
Those papers are super sweet. Love the colours, reminds me of the Mintay brand, love those papers too. Stay warm and creative. Hugs from Vancouver Island.
I love this card Kathy – the new paper collection from Tammy seems to work with everything – simply stunning card!!!
A very very stunning card here Kathy! One day my imagination will just blow me away, but for now your creativeness is outstanding. I love all you do and share with us out here. Love all your tutorials too! Be safe & TYFS
I’m in love with anything/everything sage colored. Maybe because of the bountiful sage bushes that cover our desert in Wyoming and the wonderful fragrance after a spring rain. So, this speaks to my heart and perfect for the papers you used! Wonderful inspiration during this time of lots of snow and -20 degrees weather! Kudos, Kathy!
Oh my, my, my! You know I luv easel cards so much …but this one I believe just might be my all time favorite! Those gorgeous colored flowers are so beautiful and especially luv the painterly splotches over all! I still don’t think I’ve done that yet! Can’t help it …I’m not as brave as you …but I soooo luv the end result! It definitely gives it that vintage look! Luv the inside too! Thanks for sharing yet another beauty Kathy! Hugs, Suzy Q
So pretty.
