Simple Stories Autumn Breeze Triple Pocket Treat Tags Tutorial for Wonderful Wednesday
Hello, Friends! It’s Wonderful Wednesday, and I have a one sheet wonder Simple Stories Autumn Breeze Triple Pocket Treat Tag Tutorial to share with you. Phew! Say that 3 times real fast! Seriously, though, this is a really fun project that comes together quickly. Not only did I use just one sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock for the base, I used just 1 sheet of 6×8 Autumn Breeze paper to line it, too.
Just look at all the wonderful goodies tucked into the trio of pockets! Of course, I’m thinking table favors, but you could easily give these sweet pockets as gifts, too. And, if you were going to set these out on your Thanksgiving table, how fun would it be to fold your napkin in one pocket and tuck your silverware in another pocket? Ooooh! That idea just came to me, and I think I like it!
The triple pocket base would be awesome in a junk journal, mini album or layout, too!
Autumn Goodness
Can we just talk about the Autumn Breeze paper collection for a second? Oh, my my! It is soooooo beautiful and inspiring. Simple Stories really nailed it when they designed these papers! I had such fun working with them that I had to make a whole stack of 6 Triple Pocket Treat Tags! You’ll see the rest in the video tutorial below.
TIP: Add Autumn goodness to your projects by embellishing with natural elements. Ai simple little wood slice amps up the woodsy vibe of the paper collection. Star anise makes it smell all fall cozy and fabulous. And a cute acorn cap is the perfect finishing touch.
I spied this lovely Paper Rose Maple Leaf die when I was shopping for fall goodies the other day and I just had to add it to the cart. It did not disappoint, and added another pretty accent to the triple pocket design. Die cut the base layer from copper metallic cardstock, then top with beige cardstock for a really pretty finish.

These pockets filled with delights would grace any celebratory table Kathy. Wouldn’t they be neat at a barbecue filled with a pretty paper napkin, different sauce and seasoning sachets etc etc, a bit different and a gift at the same time. Love the way you used the bits and pieces of patterned paper and especially the way you tied the tassels. Wonderful creativity Kathy, thank you.
What a great design! I am thinking about making these for my Bible Study group for Christmas and tuck in favorite bible verses from our year long study, a treat or two if it fits, etc.
But autumn is calling so I might have to make these too for neighbors … Such a versatile project! Thanks as always for the inspiration!
Love the design of these pocket tags-they can be made for so many different occasions! Love the fall colors and all the embellishments you used. Your video and ideas are so inspiring! Thank you for sharing.
