Graphic 45 Autumn Greetings Tag & Pocket Album Tutorial with Reneabouquets
Hello, Friends! It’s Wonderful Wednesday, and I have a lovely Graphic 45 Autumn Greetings Tag & Pocket Album Tutorial to share with you. Our theme for September is Acorns, Pumpkins and Leaves, so this little album is filled to the brim with Autumn goodness.
Do you spy the new Reneabouquets paper pretties on the cover? The new Hello, Autumn decorative corners and mushrooms look right at home on the cover of this 4 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ tag album. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
From Manila Shipping Labels to Mini Album
Our album is made from 6 jumbo manila shipping tags. Hard to believe that such humble supplies could be transformed into such a beautiful creation, isn’t it? When this idea popped into my head, I knew it was a good one, and went to work sketching out the design. Ideas were flying around in my head like shooting stars, and I had to work quickly to capture all of them.
Shaker frame on the cover? Check! I altered a basic chipboard frame with paint, inks and mica mist. I think you’ll be surprised when you see what I used in the video tutorial below.
Fall flowers? Check! I spent a delightful Sunday afternoon creating a whole pile of autumn blooms using a scrumptious color palette
TIP: Add texture to your projects with an assortment of threads, twine and string. I love the fall colors in this tassel topper.
I can’t wait to show you the interior of this pretty tag and pocket album!
A Peek Inside
Working with large tags allowed me to add lots of room for photos inside the album. Y’all know how much I love a good kinetic waterfall, so I just had to add one to the inside covers. Keeping the design simple allowed me to finish the album in an afternoon.
My favorite feature in this album is this double pocket. It’s so simple to complete, but adds an unexpected feature to the design. And how much do we love all these darling woodland creatures? So much!

Delightful Kathy, well designed and a fun to watch video. I chuckled when you corrected the papers to cover the slide inlay, as it was a been there done that moment. I tried commenting g a couple of days ago, hope this comes through.
Thanks for sharing as always.
Wow what a project! Tags make such super books and this one uses glorious papers and embellishments. I was chuckling away when you had to redo the innrr tag coverings by the spine, been there, done that! Love the waterfalls, they make the project so touchable and use the papers in a great way.
I have had arty time too in between painting doors, ordering some furniture, helping with window sill repairs, oh and gardening. Spring is here and it does inspire creativity with all the blooming lavender and herbs.
