Eileen Hull Woodland Teacup

Eileen Hull Woodland Teacup

Hello, Friends!  I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with your loved ones!  We were super busy with family, but I did manage to squeeze in just enough studio time to create this Eileen Hull Woodland Teacup.

I’ve made about 20 of these sweet teacup gift packages this Christmas, but this one might be my most favorite.  It was created for a special friend, and with any luck, she has received it by now!

I purchased this wooden reindeer in a lot of crafting goodies that a friend sold earlier this summer.  Spray with with Ground Espresso Distress Stain, Antique Brass Mica spray and dust with a little bit of Grainy Texture Paste to alter the balsa wood, it looks right at home on this cup nestled in with the snow pine cones, holly berries and woodland tree.

These papers are from my Christmas scrap bin.  I had just enough of the red houndstooth paper to create the cups.  And I could not resist the urge to add a glittery red ornament to the base of the cup.

This vintage Santa spoon sort of fell into my basket at an estate sale a year or two ago.  There were 6 in the set, and I’ve been hoarding them for special projects like this.  The candy cane ornament is a flea market find.  It’s a collectible from B. Lloyd, and I love it’s vintage vibe!

I’ve had such fun making these little cups!  I wish I had time to make more…

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cheerio,

kathy

Turned out lovely Kathy and great finds as well – love that candy cane ornament and I do have some teaspoons packed somewhere that I need to use! We still have things in boxes from our move to a condo in husbands home town – love it here in a country quiet setting – but it is 30 minutes drive to a crafting store now – oh well – I still like it here! TFS your lovely art!

Kathy, I so enjoyed your earlier post of teacups and this one just adds to it. Liked hearing about your various buys…the items are perfect for this gift. Among the joys of this Thanksgiving for me was the chance to pull out some of the stamps, dies and stencils I’ve recently purchased and have fun playing. As always, tfs!

These little tea-cups are just adorable! And this one really is my favorite! It’s the deer I guess.
Your special friend is gonna love it!!! Levi and I have tried making our own up (don’t have a die cutting machine) lol! It looked more like a sugar bowl! Lol! We gave up trying to figure it all out! Lol! Hugs, Suzy Q

Another great item. I’m sure your friend loved all the detail and thoughtfulness that went into this really cute teacup. I think I’m a little jealous…. 😉
