September 2024 Banner of the Month Tutorial with G45 Autumn Greetings and Reneabouquets
Hello, Friends! It’s time for our Wonderful Wednesday September 2024 Banner of the Month Tutorial. Our banner this month features beautiful papers from Graphic 45 Autumn Greetings, Really Reasonable Ribbon and gorgeous new paper pretties from Reneabouquets. This is one of the prettiest banners I’ve ever made, and I think you’re going to like it, too!
Look at all those yummy pumpkins, fall flowers, leaves and acorns! It’s autumn served up on paper!
Are you enjoying this Autumn Greetings paper as much as I am? I’ve paired it up with some lovely Reneabouquets Hello, Autumn Tuck Ins Printed Beautiful board, handmade flowers and beautiful ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon. And just look at those adorable little acorn charms!
I’ve used 3 different shaped dies to create the pennants on this banner. It’s always fun to mix and match pennant shapes, and this go round I’ve used an unexpected die to create this pennant. Can you guess what it is? You’ll find out in the video tutorial
A Little Mixed Media
I’ve used some simple mixed media techniques on Reneabouquets Hello, Autumn Laser Cuts. Sponge daubers and Distress Oxide inks lend fall color to autumn leaves and acorns. It’s such a quick and easy way to dress up Beautiful Board.
My camera lens did not like all the orange and yellow tones, so the colors here are a bit more faded. In real life, these are rich jewel tones that say “autumn is here” loudly and clearly.

Stunning, this is a stunning piece of creativity and I don’t think I would want to part with it either. The Renea elements are just gorgeous and the perfect fit and your beautiful handmade sunflowers are the finishing touch. Great tutorial too, thanks Kathy.
